Niner Bikes: RKT 9 RDO Launch

The launch of the RKT 9 RDO mountain bike was a high-profile project for Niner Bikes. Creating the necessary photo and video assets involved numerous shoots in the studio and outdoors. The bike frame was photographed first in the studio, and then the built complete bike was shot in the studio on a black background, and a white background. In Moab, UT we photographed and filmed the bike outdoors and with a rider, against the stunning rocky landscape. Back at Niner HQ, we filmed a piece talking about the features and launch of the bike, using the action footage from Moab mixed in. Later on, we filmed another RKT video, in collaboration with Topo Designs, showcasing the versatility of the RKT with a high-alpine fishing and riding trip. All footage was filmed and delivered in high-quality 4K resolution. The photos and videos were used in the global launch of the bike and picked up by numerous editorial publications including Pinkbike, Bike Rumor, MTBR, and Bike Radar. The photos were also used in full-page print ads in Mountain Bike Action magazine.
