Guerrilla Gravity: Manufacturing
Client: Guerrilla Gravity Project: Manufacturing process photo shoot
Guerrilla Gravity cuts, welds, and builds all of their bike frames by hand at their Denver, CO facility. The purpose of this project was to showcase and document that build process using a journalistic style.
Starting with raw aluminum tubing, the parts get cut, drilled, cleaned and assembled into jigs for welding. After welding, the aluminum is polished and final reaming, threading, and serial number stamping is completed. The frame is then ready for powder coating and final assembly with all of the components (drivetrain, wheels, suspension bearings, etc.).
