Studio Beers

Beer in the studio? Sure why not. These are a series of images I created mostly for fun to hone my craft.

Accumulation Ale: Created with nothing more than a six-pack of New Belgium’s Accumulation Ale and bunch of spent bottle caps. A few hours of setup and lighting adjustment, and a few hours of image processing/retouching.

Colette Farmhouse Ale: I couldn’t resist shooting Great Divide’s Colette Farmhouse Ale for the fantastic label design and vibrant colors.

Espolón Tequilas: I really love the bold, unique branding of Espolón, I just had to do a product shot of the bottle. Shown here is an advertising mockup with the bottle composited into a desert plains landscape (photo also by me). Significant attention to detail was paid in getting the composite to look right, including seeing the background through the bottle.
